1.1 The Family Tree of Dominique de Montbrun
We owe much of the information below to Andres Montbrun, a Venezuelan descendent of one of the brothers of our shared ancestor, Dr. Domingo de Montbrun, Knt., namely Jose Leandro de Montbrun. Jose Leandro de Montbrun was Andres' grandfather. Andres works and lives in Caracas, Venezuela. While the information is still somewhat sketchy, bear in mind that Dominique was born in 1764. As we go deeper and deeper into the bowels of the de Montbrun family tree, information only gets more difficult to access. I understand that with the exception of Dr. Domingo (which is where our tree would attach) all of these individuals would have lived in Venezuela. I think we are extemely fortunate to have made it this far thanks to Andres and his family. Andres has also provided the names of who he believes to be Dominique's parents, namely Antoine and Lois de Montbrun of France. "Antoine and Lois" may now give us access to the de Montbrun family tree in France. I'll update this tree as more information becomes available.
